Located in King’s Cross railway station it’s so easy to get to as well – just hop off your train and walk around the station until you spot it, or ask a member of staff to guide you there. The spot itself has the iconic Platform 9 ¾ sign and a luggage trolley going into the wall so you can get a great Harry Potter themed photo.
The British Library
Holding over 170 million different items, The British Library is a treasure trove of incredible literary documents. With texts from all over the world, it’s amazing to wander around and see what you can find! Try and spot original pages from Leonardo Da Vinci’s notebook, Mozart’s musical diary, or Beatles lyrics handwritten by the musicians themselves.
Granary Square
Take a little time out and stop by Granary Square. With seating and the relaxing noise of fountains, it’s the perfect spot to have a quick break, eat a snack, and plan the next part of your day. The dancing fountains, too, make the site well worth a visit – even if you don’t need a break!
